About the Author Ariel Vogn-Bento

Ariel Vogn-Bento is a Media Studies student majoring in Journalism at the University of Guelph-Humber. Ariel has worked closely with online blogs, such as Toronto’s Manifesto Community Projects organization and Kiddology, a blog made specifically for parents with young children. Art and culture is Ariel’s specialty. A hand full of her past work has been interviewing artist such as the Canadian band Grand Analog, poet David Delisca and local Toronto MC Artist, the Twelfth Letter. Ariel has received free media passes in 2013 to Manifesto’s festival of Community and Culture, and Downsview Park’s two day Veld festival. Ariel’s passion is filming and being on camera. Ariel enjoys working independently on editing footage and creating short videos. In her past time she enjoys lifting weights at the gym and watching independent films.
