Stephanie Villella is a fourth year Media Studies student with an area of emphasis on journalism. She has an interest in news and entertainment television broadcast. She is currently an intern at CBC for local Toronto news. Her contribution to CBC includes chasing emergency peoples (police officers, fire people, and ambulance), writing radio and TV scripts, and researching stories. Stephanie hopes to one-day work at a broadcasting giant, such as CBC in the future. Stephanie’s interests include travelling, reading, listening to music, and swimming. She has been a swimming instructor and lifeguard for the City of Vaughan for five years and has been part of her high school swim team. She has also worked at a music video company, The Field, where she shadowed multiple music directors and producers and helped with music video shoots. Stephanie also has a passion for drama and performing, where she has been part of several theatrical performances. Her desire to be an actress growing up has led her to her goal of one day being a news reporter.
